How will they know?
Thank God for giving the Tai Lue brothers and sisters in Myanmar a heart to go visit the nearby Buddhist villages and connect with people there. When going they realized that if they didn’t go share God’s story with them, “How will they know?” and that it’s really not that hard to tell His story, planting the seed and then watering it. It’s God who makes it grow! Pray for the Buddhist families who they shared with to be cut to the heart and turn to Jesus together.
Nail-pierced hands
Recently a video we made connecting the story Tai Lue Buddhists know about One coming will nail-pierced hands to Jesus Christ had a good viewing on FB. Pray that more and more Tai Lue people will discover Christ as their Redeemer and that God will grow His kingdom through the social media platforms. Pray for His leading and provision for a FB responder.
Faith over fear
Pray for the Tai Lue in pressured areas that the Holy Spirit will pour out His love into their hearts and give them boldness to gather, go and witness and vision for their people worshipping the Lord.
Pray for God to prepare local coworkers with a heart to reach a new area with 40 villages but no known believers yet, and may God prepare the people’s hearts there for the Gospel.
Setting Captives Free
Thank God for faithful disciples in Laos who continually go out to share the Good News and help new believers do the same. Pray that the Lord will open the hearts of the Tai Lue communities and show them their need for Jesus. For those on drugs, pray that they will see the changed lives of those who came to Freedom House and want new life as well.
Flooding in Thailand
Chiangrai has been at risk of flooding and the province of Nan where there are Tai Lue villages was flooded badly. As brothers and sisters bring relief and share the hope of the Gospel, pray that it will take root there and that Jesus will grow His church.
Pray for more young Tai Lue men to encounter the Living Christ and follow Him whole-heartedly, becoming disciple-makers among their groups of friends.
But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
1 Timothy 6:11
